Jubilee grew up in South Florida and her obsession with late night club music was powered by Miami bass, breaks and grime. She was a dedicated listener to local electro DJs on the radio, and eventually headed to New York City. Her rise to nightlife fame began with local events, earning notoriety for her deep knowledge of electronic genres and expertise in bass, uncommon to the city’s music scene. Now, she’s bringing that deep booty bouncing bass to the EVR studio, and you can hear her spin live on Worldwide Smash tonight at 12am ET.
Jubilee holds down a residency at the Flashing Lights parties at 88 Palace in NYC, with fellow residents DJ Ayres (The Rub) and Nick Catchdubs (Fools Gold Records); hosting the night to a slew of influential guest DJs that have included Todd Edwards, Nadastrom, Toddla T, La Roux, Flosstradamus and A-Trak with countless stellar names in underground music showing up to the party.
She’s done podcasts and mixtapes for XLR8R and has also played alongside heavy hitters like The Juan Maclean, Simian Mobile Disco, Digitalism, Jokers of the Scene and Green Velvet. Listen live at the stroke of midnight for some hair-raising hell-rioutous bass!
